1. Progressive and legendary at the same time.
The iconic MINI 3-door is a legend. With the coming generation, MINI has succeeded in preparing it for the future thanks to continuous advancement in technology, efficiency and power delivery, which reflect careful handling of the popular model’s tradition-steeped history and now once again raise driving fun to a new level.
2. 100 % electrified go-kart feeling.
In the new MINI family, full torque is available from the get-go in two different electric motorisations: the MINI Cooper E, with an output of 135 kW, and the MINI Cooper SE, with 160 kW. It accelerates without delay and without shift interruptions. The lithium-ion high-voltage battery is installed in the floor of the MINI Cooper Electric for optimum road holding and weight distribution, while also increasing the vehicle’s stability and agility.
3. Powerful enough for the next roadtrip.
The battery capacity in the MINI Cooper E is 40.7 kWh, while in the MINI Cooper SE it is 54.2 kWh. This gives the new models a predicted range of between 300 and 400 kilometres, thereby noticeably extending the radius for journeys within the urban setting and beyond. Moreover, the MINI Cooper Electric offers enough space for all the luggage you want to take with you on your road trips. With its hallmark MINI space concept, the vehicle demonstrates maximum flexibility and variability. The design of the interior allows the luggage compartment volume to be expanded, and includes four seats.
4. Continuing a success story.
Since its launch in 2020, the all-electric MINI Cooper SE experienced an impressive increase in sales of 25.5 per cent in 2022 – making it by far the most popular MINI model. With over 43,000 units sold worldwide last year, the locally emission-free MINI has become a popular choice for environmentally conscious drivers. In fact, one out of every five MINIs sold today is electrically powered. Recently, the production anniversary was celebrated of the one millionth MINI 3-door of the current, fourth generation, demonstrating the enduring popularity of this iconic vehicle. Now, this success will be continued with the launch of the fifth model generation.
